Our Story
PFG Group began as a family business serving local customers from a small facility in Staffordshire. Since then, the business has expanded its operations, infrastructure and service offering to support a diverse customer base across multiple sectors.
Over more than two decades, the group has developed distribution capabilities, wholesale branch operations, specialist meat processing services and logistics infrastructure to support foodservice businesses, retailers and hospitality operators.
This growth has been guided by a practical approach: investing in the facilities, services and operational capabilities needed to support customers as their requirements evolve.

Delivered Wholesale Distribution
The Pentagon Food Group Ltd (TPFG) operates the group's delivered wholesale service from its Regional Distribution Centre in Stoke-on-Trent.
Serving customers across a delivery radius of up to 150 miles, the business supplies ambient, chilled and frozen products to a wide range of sectors, including:
- Foodservice
- Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)
- Hospitality
- Education
- Cafés and coffee shops
- Restaurants and takeaways
- Offices and workplaces
- Care and support organisations
Temperature-Controlled Fleet
Supporting these operations is a fleet of multi-temperature, temperature-controlled vehicles designed to transport ambient, chilled and frozen products within the appropriate storage conditions throughout the delivery process.
Together with the group's warehousing and logistics infrastructure, this enables customers to receive products across multiple temperature categories through a single delivery service.
Customers also have access to account support, sales centre assistance and key account management services.
Freshways Wholesale
Freshways Wholesale provides direct access to wholesale products through cash & carry and click & collect branches.
Open to both trade customers and members of the public, Freshways offers a wide range of products, including:
- Ambient grocery
- Chilled and frozen foods
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
- Halal meat and poultry
- Confectionery and soft drinks
- Catering and foodservice supplies
Freshways also provides in-store butchery services, including bespoke meat preparation, catering butchery and marination options.

Daily Fresh
Daily Fresh is the group's specialist meat, poultry and beef processing operation.
Working alongside the wider PFG Group, Daily Fresh supports wholesale, retail and foodservice customers through services that include:
- Meat and poultry processing

- Bespoke meat preparation
- Marination services
- Foodservice supply support
The business forms an important part of the group's integrated supply chain and specialist product offering.
Logistics and Infrastructure
PFG Group's operations are supported by a distribution and logistics network designed to manage the movement, storage and supply of products across multiple channels.
Infrastructure across the group includes:
- An 80,000 sq ft multi-temperature wholesale distribution facility
- A 60,000 sq ft decanting, storage and logistics centre in Stoke-on-Trent
- Temperature-controlled distribution vehicles
- Wholesale branch operations
- Shared business support services through GBS
These facilities support the group's wholesale, retail and foodservice activities across its operating regions.
Supplier Partnerships
